I'm Giacomo, usually Jaack online. I work in DevRel at Team1, supporting builders across Avalanche. I also build native apps and AI systems, research crypto infrastructure, and advise projects.
I like shipping, spotting markets early, and making complicated things usable. Writing is how I figure out what I actually think.
How I got here
I started Tweaknology with university friends in 2014. That led to tech journalism for Webnews, La Stampa, and Saggiamente, and community work with Campus Party. Explaining technical subjects taught me to start with the person reading.
I joined Avascan in 2020 and later became Head of Growth at Routescan, working on partnerships and explorer infrastructure. I left in May 2026. In October 2026, I joined Team1 in DevRel, taking my work with Avalanche builders beyond the Italian chapter.
How I work
I like a concrete problem and a small enough scope to understand the details. Writing helps me test an idea before committing more time to it. I’m interested in the point where technical choices become useful to someone else.
I use OpenClaw and specialist agents to help coordinate the work. The part I care about is checking outcomes and keeping the decisions understandable. I want more room to build, think, and enjoy life.

Ecosystem, advisory, and speaking
At Team1, I work with global chapters on technical workshops, hackathons, builder onboarding, and support. My initial focus is on grants review and the builder platform: understanding what a team has built, what is blocking its next step, and which resources, integrations, or partners could help. I continue to coordinate Team1 Italy.
Alongside Team1, my Redbridge advisory work focuses on token design and privacy-preserving cross-chain infrastructure.
I also study Avalanche Community Proposals and turn the mechanics into research and interactive tools.

Mi piace lanciare prodotti, individuare mercati prima che diventino ovvi e rendere utilizzabili cose complesse. Scrivere è il modo in cui capisco cosa penso davvero.
Come sono arrivato qui
Nel 2014 ho fondato Tweaknology con alcuni amici dell'università. Da lì sono arrivati il giornalismo tech per Webnews, La Stampa e Saggiamente e il lavoro sulle community con Campus Party. Raccontare temi tecnici mi ha insegnato a partire da chi legge.
Sono entrato in Avascan nel 2020 e sono poi diventato responsabile della crescita in Routescan, lavorando su partnership e infrastruttura explorer. Ho lasciato l'azienda a maggio 2026. A ottobre 2026 sono entrato in Team1 in DevRel, portando il lavoro con i builder di Avalanche oltre il capitolo italiano.
Come lavoro
Mi piace partire da un problema concreto e da un perimetro abbastanza piccolo da capirne i dettagli. Scrivere mi aiuta a mettere alla prova un’idea prima di dedicarle altro tempo. Mi interessa il punto in cui una scelta tecnica diventa utile per qualcuno.
Uso OpenClaw e agenti specializzati per coordinare il lavoro. Mi interessano la verifica dei risultati e la possibilità di capire le decisioni. Voglio più spazio per costruire, pensare e godermi la vita.

Ecosistema, advisory e interventi
In Team1 lavoro con i capitoli globali su workshop tecnici, hackathon, onboarding e supporto ai builder. Le prime priorità sono la revisione dei grant e la piattaforma per i builder: capire cosa ha costruito un team, cosa blocca il passo successivo e quali risorse, integrazioni o partner possono aiutarlo. Continuo a coordinare Team1 Italy.
Accanto a Team1, l’advisory per Redbridge riguarda il design del token e l’infrastruttura cross-chain che preserva la privacy.
Studio anche le Avalanche Community Proposals e ne traduco i meccanismi in ricerca e strumenti interattivi.
